DIVINATION

Divination is a process which allows you to gather information. There are many forms of divination: Rune Stones, Ogham sticks, The Pendulum, Dreaming True and Scrying with a crystal ball or magick mirror. You can find the Square of Mercury Talisman on the talisman page.

All of the following tools must be purified, consecrated, and dedicated to the vibrations of Mercury, then stored in a pouch or wrapped in silk.

Pendulum- May only be used for yes/no answers, finding lost objects, or dowsing.
Ogham Sticks-Made from the oak tree, or popsicle sticks if you can't afford oak.
Rune Stones-can be made using river rocks and special paints or purchased at a store.
The Magickal Mirror- used to see images when calling upon Vassago or used in other rituals. Although you can buy them, it's better if you make it yourself.
Crystal Balls-The same use as for mirrors. They were originally made out of Crystal Quartz, now they are made of glass.
Tarot Cards-They give more complicated answers, however the diviner needs to spend a lot of time in meditation with the cards before they can get a good read on them. They are best used by persons able to channel future events, such as psychics. They are also excellent tools for meditation and pathworking.

DREAMING TRUE

During the waxing moon while it is approaching full, take a warm bath just before bed with the following ingredients:

Lavender Oil
Rosemary Oil
Thyme Oil
Powdered Poppy seed

While you are taking your bath fumigate the roon with Lunar Incense:

Mix together equal parts of:
Camphor
Powdered Aloeswood
Jasmine
Pulverized Cucumber seeds
Powdered Sandalwood

Before you lie down to sleep write your question on a piece of white paper. Place the paper and a small sachet of wormwood under your pillow. If the spell works you should have your answer in the morning.
